A Brazilian brewer has created the odouls of ice cream: non alcoholic beer flavored ice cream. This is not really all that new as other companies have created alcohol infused ice cream around the world.
The controversy comes into play with the above ad which translates to ‘shall we go to the bar for some ice cream’? People are worries that this will encourage children to drink with it’s flashy ad and bright colors.
I am for not targeting kids with ads directed at adults and this is walking that thin line. Hopefully their marketing team will rebrand this with a less kid friendly approach.
